Paul McCoubrey is Managing Director and a Certified Financial Planner at Navigate IFA.
With around 25 years’ experience in financial advice, and over 20 years as a business owner, Paul brings both technical expertise and real-world perspective to the clients he works with. He understands the pressures that come with running a business, making big financial decisions, supporting a family and trying to build a life that feels successful both personally and professionally.
Paul specialises in goal-based financial planning, with a particular focus on helping business owners and people approaching retirement gain clarity, structure and confidence around their future. His approach is centred on helping clients understand what they want life to look like, what “enough” means for them, and how their money can support the life they want to build.
As Managing Director, Paul’s role is increasingly focused on growing Navigate, developing the next generation of financial planners, and making sure the business continues to deliver high-quality, personal financial planning for clients and their families. Having achieved Certified Financial Planner status himself, Paul is passionate about raising standards within the business and helping the team continue to develop their knowledge, confidence and client impact.
Outside work, Paul is married to Helen and they have a daughter, Lucia. He enjoys family time, reading, eating out, supporting Liverpool, and, like many men of a certain age, has recently become far too interested in padel and pickleball.
