About Navigate

“Why did we call a company Navigate? Well, life is full of transitions and it’s our job to work with our clients to help them navigate their way through them. Whether it’s buying their first house, getting married, having a family, landing that dream job, all the way through to planning for working less or retiring completely. And by working with our clients, we can help to put a plan in place and the better that we do this, the easier it is for them.

I got in touch with Navigate because I started the business that I’m currently in, six years ago, and thankfully, it has proven to be very successful and I wanted to talk to Paul about what would be the best thing for tax purposes, for investments, and eventually retirement in the future.

Working with Navigate makes me feel a bit more confident about spending money. I just love the graphs that Paul produces, and it shows me in a way that I can understand that, that I will have enough to keep me comfortable rather than worrying about the future.

It was only after we spoke to Navigate that we realised we needed to do a bit of financial planning. Not just talking about pensions, actually planning our financial future, and where we’re at the minute, you know, what sort of income we had and what sort of income we wanted to have in 10/1212 years time, whenever we retire.

Before I worked with Navigate, I had financial advice, and I wasn’t just so sure that was the right advice, but moving to Navigate, we found as a family that it was the best way forward. An example would be I always had in my mind to retire when I was 65. Looking at my financial moneys within the pension pots that we’ve had, it was an opportunity to sit down with Michael, and then look back and say to ourselves, “Could I retire at 60?” That has now become the reality, in that Navigate has helped me and guide me towards retiring at 60 and taking that time away from my family for the future.

When you’re kind of faced with the challenge of, “Well, what do I do? Who do I look for? Who can you trust really as well?” And the answer was Darren and Paul. So that was a great start for me, and it was a kind of business that I thought “yeah, I can really work with these guys. They’re going to do the best for me and my family.”
